RELIABILITY

Millions of dollars worth of paper and electronic claims are being processed through FormSmith each month. We started helping chiropractors with our software in 1987 and many of our clients have been successfully using the software for many years.

TRAINING

FormSmith is not a shrink wrapped box of manuals and CDs that require you to spend days figuring out what to do. We're better than that. We do not conduct our training over the internet where you have to sit and watch the cursor move over the screen for 8 hours. A trainer will actually come to your office and walk you and/or your staff through the system. Additionally, we key the services into the system before we come to your office. This saves time and frustration and also insures that you are off to a good start.

When we leave your office, you are ready to file claims.

SUPPORT

We think that when you call the support line you should be able to talk to someone.

You should not have to send an email or submit a "support ticket" and wait for a response only to have your question left unanswered. You should not have to listen to the "recently updated menu options", push a bunch of buttons in the idiot loop and end up leaving a message for a call back. Then when you finally get a call back you end up talking to a "tech" with a heavy accent reading from a "knowledge base" data file.

EASE OF USE

FormSmith has always been designed around simplicity of use by avoiding complicated screens, disconnected choices and unnecessary steps.

Data entry is simplified with a numerical system. Retrieve patients, enter and save services by using the key pad alone.

You should find the screens and menus intuitive and easy to navigate. You can get help for the screen you are on by simply pressing the F1 key.

  • Updates to the software are freely downloadable from the internet at no additional charge.


  • Extensive help file. Press F1 anywhere in the program to get help for the screen that you are on.


  • There is no limit on the number of computers that you can have on your network.


  • There is no limit on the number of doctors that can be added into the system.


  • FormSmith can produce electronic claims. Electronic claims can be sent directly to the insurance company or to a clearing house. Electronic claim processing is included at no additional charge.


  • Once electronic claims are paid, FormSmith can process the electronic remittance (835). In other words, you download the remittance and FormSmith will read it and post payments to the insurance claim log as well as put the payment into the patient's ledgers. This usually saves hours and hours of the tedious work done by a CA.


  • FormSmith has built in checks that prevents common data entry and insurance errors.


  • Even though Medicare has special reporting requirements, FormSmith handles them all.


  • The FormSmith appointment scheduler can have 2 or 4 columns in 5, 10, 15 or 30 minute increments


  • When you type in a zip code, FormSmith will automatically look up and enter the city and state.


  • If you have a printer for reports and another printer just for forms, FormSmith will automatically switch between these two printers.


  • FormSmith supports the Dymo label printer. Call up a patient and print a mailing label with the click of your mouse.


  • FormSmith tracks sales tax and generates a sales tax report to aid in reporting.


  • FormSmith can manage your escrow accounts if you collect for services in advance. (The reports that are generated are based on the Alabama requirements for escrow reporting).


  • FormSmith can track items that you inventory such as pillows.


  • FormSmith will inventory vitamins, calculate profit, printout a reorder list when supplies get low and handle sales tax.
